Mike Jones, CAI, BAS, GPPA has been an auctioneer for over 45 years and is President and Principal Auctioneer of Classic Auctioneers located in Dallas, TX that specializes in benefit, fundraising and real estate auctions throughout the United States and abroad. Mr. Jones broadcasts a podcast show on Facebook and YouTube under Mike McGavel Jones Show. He is the 1998 International Auctioneer Champion (IAC) and 1995 Texas State Champion Auctioneer. Mr. Jones' previous clients include the National Football League, American Cancer Society, Ducks Unlimited, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys, St. Jude Children's Hospital, TX Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, March of Dimes, Future Farmers of America (FFA), U.S. Olympic Committee, American Heart Association as well as dozens of Private Schools and hundreds of 501(c)(3)organizations. Jones is President & owner of America's Auction Academy, formerly Texas Auction Academy, auctioneer training school and co-owner of World Wide College of Auctioneering in Iowa. He is a 2012 National Auctioneers Assn. Hall of Fame inductee and served as the 2004-05 National Auctioneers Association President. He is a 2004 Texas Auctioneers Assn. Hall of Fame inductee and past president. Mr. Jones was awarded the Benefit Auctioneer Specialist (BAS) designation by the National Auctioneers Association. Mr. Jones has trained over 3000 auctioneers. He is also considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by the State of Texas and PSI Testing Company.
